Our diaper pail is a Diaper Champ. For those who don’t know what Diaper Champ looks like, it’s basically a plastic trash can with a round circle on top with a handle on one side. You put the diaper in, flip the lid, and a round tube in the top slides and pushes the diaper in. You just keep flipping the lid back and forth when you put the diapers in. This way, you put the diapers in without ever having to open the lid. Lately, the boys have learned to put their wet pull ups in the Champ. I like to think of it as their way of being helpful.
Well today, I was in the “man room” with Brody, and Luke was in their bedroom. He was being quiet, and that should have been my first clue he was up to something. After a few minutes, he poked his head around the corner and said, “It’s a uh oh” with a worried look on his face. When I got to their room, the Champ was in the middle of the room with the plastic bag half ripped as if he had been trying to get into it. He looked at me again and said “uh-oh, cars.” He then pulled on the handle. Willing to play along, I opened the Champ only to find that there were at least nine cars in the stinkin’ pail! I can only imagine how long he had been playing this disappearing act with his cars.
About Me
- Everyday adventures...
- Welcome to the world of twin preschoolers. Every day is an adventure! This blog is a way for me to share a little of what life is like with twin boys. The adventure never ends. On most days, they make me wonder what would happen if “babies drooled the world”! One thing I know for sure is they would win most of the battles! In an ideal world, I’d love to write children’s books. The title of this blog is obviously a play on words (If babies ruled the world). It came to me one day when I was wiping a drool covered face for probably the 100th time. I think it would be a fun title for a book. Maybe one day the boys’ adventures will inspire me to finally write that book. Until then, I’ll have fun wondering what truly would happen if babies drooled the world!
